The Morris name has been predominant in the Western Canadian Automotive Industry for over 30 years. Born in Johnstone Scotland, Tony Morris Sr. moved to Canada in the early 70’s and proceeded to rack up numerous race victories and championships. Driving the ‘Heavy Chevy’#88 Camaro, Tony was an instant hit with local race fans who loved his incredibly smooth driving style, lamb chop sideburns and Scottish humour. Tony was President of the ultra-successful, Circuit Tire Sales & Service in Port Moody for 29 years and has represented Porsche Cars North America’s Western Canadian Press Fleet since 1994 with his other company, Media Car Services Inc.

In 1980, his son Tony Jr. began his racing career, following in his father’s footsteps. After many early Go Kart Championships, Tony Jr. began his car racing career in 1989 in the Honda/Michelin Series with a big win in front of his home crowd at Westwood along with Rookie of the Year honours. This was followed in 1990 with an impressive Honda/Michelin Series Championship and the rest as they say, is history. Two of Tony Jr’s most momentous achievements include overall victories at the Vancouver Molson Indy SCCBC Invitational in 2003 and 2007 Edmonton Indy NASCC GT Invitational. Tony Jr. is the President of Morrisport Advanced Driving Inc.
